Meredith is an experienced, energetic teacher leader committed to evidence based education. She has a strong foundation in STEM and Social-Emotional Learning and is dedicated to the long-term success and achievement of Alexandria City Public Schools.

As a fourth grade teacher and team leader at Matthew Maury Elementary School in Alexandria, Virginia, she brought an enthusiasm and commitment to evidence based education that offered pathways of success for all students. Meredith was honored to be the Matthew Maury Elementary School "Teacher of the Year" in 2018.

This past year Meredith has been teaching 4th grade in Nashville, Tennessee at Fall-Hamilton Elementary School. Here she has embraced a Trauma-Informed teaching approach and grown her skill set to address the social and emotional needs of her students through restorative practices and relationship building.

Meredith is passionate about ensuring all students have access to high quality education and a safe and inclusive learning environment. She works relentlessly to ensure all her students have opportunities to succeed, be challenged, and know they are loved.
